Welcome to the Chestnuts Hotel

In the heart of "Burns Country", the Chestnuts is located on the south side of Ayr on the A 719 only 5 minutes walk from the seafront, 1 mile from Alloway Village & Burns Cottage and 5 minutes from Belleisle and Seafield Golf Courses. Ayr Railway Station and Bus Station are in the Town Centre which is approximately 15 minutes walk from the Hotel. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is a ten minute taxi/train ride away.

The A 719 is the coastal route to Maidens and Turnberry, which with its Championship Golf Courses is about 20 minutes by car.

The Chestnuts Bar, the '19th Hole' has an open fire and serves a fine selection of cask ales and malt whiskies. Bar lunches and Suppers can be enjoyed in a relaxed and homely atmosphere in the 19th Hole, the Burns Restaurant and the Beer Garden. Children can choose from their own menu and there is a Play Park in the Garden.

Golf packages are a speciality at the Chestnuts Hotel. Centrally situated for 14 golf courses and a member of the Golf South Ayrshire Coast card scheme, there are reduced rates available on 8 municipal course round Ayrshire and tee times can be arranged.

"The Garden Room" - Small private room Ideal for meetings, small conferences, birthday parties, lunches, suppers, buffets etc. Tables can vary in layout and the room can accommodate up to 16. There is a small conservatory attached which can seat 8 or can be used for drinks etc. There are plenty of sockets, wall space etc, but we have no projectors/screens.

As members of Ayr Chamber of Commerce we can provide more substantial conference facilities and organise transport between those facilities at Prestwick Airport (approx 3 miles) and our hotel. Packages can be arranged, eg. Morning coffee, conference facilities, lunch/supper, room rates (if required). Car parking on site.
